Organize any project, and keep every document minty fresh

Real-time Database views

Turn your Almanac Folders into Databases to visualize projects, processes, roadmaps, and more with custom properties and views. Databases now update in real-time, so everyone is always on the same page. Whether you're still in the planning stages or seeking transparency on project blockers and risks, Database views have you covered.

Anyone with edit access on a folder can create and manage multiple Database views that can be tailored for every stage of your project. Click the (+) while in a folder to add a new view, choose your layout, then filter, sort, or group to easily get the answers you need.

Build living documentation with Suggestions

Almanac handbooks now have Suggestions built in, so you can ensure your important company policies and team documentation are always current and accurate.

Any user with read/comment access on a handbook doc can suggest changes on a private Layer and submit a Review to the owner. Document editors get notified, and have the final say in which updates to approve and merge down.

Additionally, the document Activity Feed can now be filtered to only show merge events, providing a more focused view of how a document has changed over time.

An even better editor

Documents are the heart of Almanac, so we're excited to bring a suite of long-awaited improvements based on customer feedback.

We've updated both the formatting tab and formatting toolbar to give you access to what you need, when you need it, while editing your document.

Callouts and Quotes also have a fresh look, helping you to create effortlessly beautiful documents with highlighted content that stands out.

💡  Use the Slash menu to save time! Easily insert elements by entering / followed by the element you'd like to insert.

Track Changes on docs by default during Reviews

  • When you start a review on a doc, track changes will now be automatically turned on for your request recipients to ensure their proposed edits can be easily followed once it's time to merge down changes.

Quality of life improvements

  • We improved the experience for opening documents from the Table view of folders on mobile.
  • We fixed a bug causing some templates in Almanac Core to not display properly.
  • We cleaned up some small visual bugs appearing in the document's right sidebar.
  • We fixed a bug where invite links weren't working if the user signed in with Google.
