We've made Reviews and Suggestions more transparent and flexible to enable structured collaboration through the entire lifecycle of a doc.

You can now add yourself as a recipient for Feedback, Approval, or Read Receipts when configuring a workflow.

Use this to make sure you get a chance to weigh in on each round of edits, or just to keep yourself in the loop.

In addition, when you're submitting Suggestions to a published doc, you can now add additional Reviewers besides the doc owner. This new feature helps your team maintain the accuracy of important docs, policies, and knowledge faster than ever.

Auto distribute columns

We've made it simpler to transform existing text in your document into columns.

Now, when you select two paragraphs of text and create two columns, Almanac auto-distributes the two paragraphs into each column. If you have only one paragraph selected, the text now displays evenly when you convert to columns.

Quality of life improvements

  • You can now accept or reject all track changes in a doc, directly from the Collaboration tab.
  • We reduced the line spacing of toggle blocks, so it matches the spacing of bulleted lists.
  • We removed the persistent gray background on the toggle icon ▶️ -- it now only appears when your cursor hovers over it.
  • We added a new keyboard shortcut for inserting a checklist: Cmd+Shift+9​.
  • We fixed a bug where inline tasks were linking to each other. Now, marking a task as completed, assigning it to a teammate, or setting a due date on one task will not affect any other tasks.
